Weekly Pull Request: April 11th, 2025
We are so back.
Hey! I know it’s been awhile. I’ve been slacking pretty hard on posting as of late, but for good reason. But fear not! Riffs, Code, Coffee is still going strong. In fact, I’m trying to find more ways to bring you more awesome content to this newsletter!
So anyways, here’s your Weekly Pull Request, where I share cool music, tech, and other interesting things I come across throughout the week.

COUNTRY! - HARDY
HARDY just released two new songs today, both of which are a return to form for him as a country artist. Personally, I wasn’t a huge fan of QUIT!, but the singles are fantastic entries to his catalog. I thought it was cool that he’s dropping this EP before his tour too. Very stoked to hear the other 3 songs.
Live at the Legion - Billy Strings & Bryan Sutton
I just saw Billy and his band this past week, and once again had to pick my jaw up off the floor of the Yuengling Center. The astounding musicianship, the sheer amount of time that they played, and the experience and vibe surrounding the show solidified this as the best concert I’ve been to so far in my time on this rock.
That being said, Live at the Legion is another awesome entry into the Billy Strings discography. This jam with Bryan Sutton is chock full of great bluegrass tunes, and was recorded in such a way that makes it feel like you’re actually at the Legion listening to these guys play. Overall, incredible record and highly recommend.
Youtube
Did you know that I make Youtube content now? My channel is focused around guitar playing and recording, along with a little bit of tech and things I’ve learned sprinkled throughout. Here is my latest video! I put out a new video weekly, which btw, there will be a new one out this afternoon!
Big Rig Recordings

Music keeps knocking at my door, y’all. And just like I said in my article on evolving, be willing to evolve, and for me that means taking a new approach.
I’m super stoked to announce that I’ve rebranded my studio to Big Rig Recordings, where I specialize in helping rock & country artists, and creators find their sonic identity by transforming demos into professional rhythm section recordings performed by professional musicians. I’ve teamed up with my buddy Zach to offer session guitar & drums, ready to play on your next record. I also create custom, royalty-free music for content creators, and will be releasing packs of these songs here very soon. I’ll keep you posted.
That’s all for this week’s pull request. Let’s go ahead and merge this to main. I hope you have an amazing weekend!
Build Fast. Break Stuff. Have Fun.
